Most of us have been a little disappointed due to the lack of push for apps on the Zune HD, given the obvious strengths the platform possesses.
That may not be the whole story according to John Gruber, of Daring Fireball as apparently after publishing a short story on the ZHD and Microsoft’s seeming lack of developer interest he was surprisingly contacted by an iPhone dev who claimed to have been pinged by Redmond to code for the new device.
According to the twitter client maker, it was requested that he port his software to the Zune platform for substantial sum of money. Okay so details are thin on this but he apparently did decline the generous offer. For more information on this simply go to engadgetmobile.com
