Gmail is growing and growing fast, so much so that on Monday Tiverias Apps launched GPush for 3.0 iPhone, a small app for 99 cents that apparently fills the gap with push notification for your Gmail account according to Cnet.
Apparently GPuch alerts the user of incoming Gmail messages by using a chime, red badge, and a semitransparent window which shows the sender’s name along with the subject line, everything else works in the background.
In Cnet’s tests GPush for iPhone did reasonable well as several email alerts came through while using the iPhone or sliding the handset to wake from sleep, buy many messages also lagged or simply weren’t delivers from the server but still showed in the inbox.
