Nokia N97 side-by-side with 5900 and many more
The launch of the Nokia N97 mini is to happen very soon. This will be at Nokia World 09, September 2nd and 3rd in Stuttgart, Germany. The additional touchscreen device is unknown but at a guess it is the highly predictable Nokia 5900. This is a jazzed up version of the 5800 XpressMusic.
If you look even closer at the picture, it reveals not yet known names such as E52 and E72. Whereas the first is still pending its market release, the E52 is already available. The image also shows the 6760 slide, which is also known as Nokia 6790 Surge in the USA, 6303 classic and 2730 classic.
Can you still remember the classic 6303? This was the reliable device that would get you from A to B. It had a 3 megapixel camera, autofocus and LED flash, Ovi Maps and Ovi Share, VGA video recording at 15fps, rich preinstalled application package and a solid metal casing, sweet oval shapes, to name all but a few features.
The two slider devices are the 6600i slide which has a 5 megapixel autofocus camera and double LED flash, a stainless steel cover with organic design, and an easy-to-use email client and web browser, whilst we do not know a lot about the other slider all we know is it is white and has not yet been announced.

The N97 is a good phone, with lots of good features, but the resistive touchscreen, lacklustre Ovi app store and ageing browser are disappointing.
