Step-by-Step how to get HTC Hero Sense UI on iPhone

Has your iPhone been jailbroken? If the answer is yes, then check out the brand new theme created by Justflikwalk of deviantART. It looks exactly like the HTC Hero Sense UI but has been changed for the iPhone. This theme has HTC’s trademark flipping clock, three customizable applications and weather.

To the right is the symbol for the sliding app tray. It also has Android number keys, which are fat-finger friendly. There is a list of apps but these are not skinned, neither is the apps themselves. The theme is sure to give your iPhone a brand new look though if you’re sick of the old homescreen. If you are wondering, how do I get the new theme onto my iPhone, follow the full step-by-step instructions on how to install the theme, but first off your iPhone will have to be jailbroken. If it is not then click here

After you are done jailbreaking you will need to install Winterboard from Cydia in order for the theme to work, then iBlank also from Cydia and install that. Once iBlank is installed go back to Cydia and search “OpenSSH”, once again install. Once you have installed OpenSSH your iPhone will need rebooting. Now connect the iPhone to your computer, making sure iTunes is not running, then start WinSCP on Windows and enter the details that follow to log into your phone: Hostname: This is your iPhones IP address — WiFi — your network name, then the user name: root, password: alpine and finally protocol: SCP. Now that you have logged in, you will need to browse to /Library/Themes directory using your iPhone.

Now you can download the HTC Hero Sense UI for your iPhone. Copy the iVillain.theme and WeaterWidget.theme directories then paste them into /Library/Themes directory on the iPhone. Changes will have to be made to configureMe.js file, this is so weather widget displays the weather in your city. Go to /Library/Themes/WeaterWidget.theme/Private. Then you will need to right click on configureMe.js file and select edit. You can then modify the highlighted line to any country or city. The “iBlank” app now needs to be started; this was installed in step 3, and then create 12 icons. In order for you to see the weather and clock widgets you will need to move the invisible icons across the first 3 rows on the main screen. Now start Winterboard app and select iVillain and WeaterWidget options in order.
