The 23rd of August is said to be the launch date for the new smartphone from LG, the LG BL40 Chocolate Touch, and yes our hopes are still sky high that this will happen.

The accelerometer on the LG BL40 Chocolate appears to be kind of snappy, while viewing video on its 4 inch 21:9 LCD screen is a joy, so the black bars will not be there if you are watching films it also has a 5 megapixel snapper, Wi-Fi and GPS.

In the mean time there is video evidence of LG’s BL40 Chocolate Touch, this should get us through the long wait. The UI is of the 3D S-Class variety. You can view the just over 6 minute video below, so check it out and enjoy.
