Mobile app developers get ready because Microsoft is gearing up to hold the first ever in the series of “dev camps” ready for the launch of the Microsoft Windows Markerplace for Mobile sometime this fall.
A Microsoft message for the app developers says don’t be shy when it comes to pricing a premium application. RIM tried to make the minimum sale price at $2.99.
Microsoft’s Mobile Development Team will use revenue rather than download volume to decide a will in the paid apps category of their Race to Market Challenge, and have said 99 cents is interesting but applications are worth more than 99 cents.
