Microsoft Office seems to be getting around quite a bit these days as Nokia has now publicized a Nokia and Microsoft deal whereby the official Microsoft Office products will come to Nokia smartphones reports cellbharat.

As of 2010 the Nokia E-series will gain use of official Microsoft apps for editing word docs, spreadsheets and presentations, although there are already unofficial 3rd party apps that do this quite well.

It is thought the deal has come about due to the likes of Sun Microsystems and Google intruding on Microsoft’s turf with their web based office tools; so in the coming year the first versions of “made for Nokia” will begin to appear.
