Apple has now replied to the FCC regarding the investigation into the rejection of the Google Voice application from the iTunes App Store, and answers each of the FCC’s questions.
Apple has obviously defended their decision to reject the Google Voice app and reasons that they were looking out for iPhone user’s best interest, security concerns and agreements with AT&T.
Apparently Apple wasn’t pleased with Google Voice totally replacing certain elements of the iPhone user interface which disable or circumvent UI’s and services such as Visual Voicemail, SMS and dialler screen; for the full reply hit up the link.
