One would think that Apple and AT&T would be getting quite tired of being sued, but yet another lawsuit has been files against Apple and AT&T. This time by Deborah Carr for misrepresenting the ability of the iPhone’s MMS reports topnews.
This recent lawsuit was filed in the Northern District of Ohio, and plaintiff Carr says AT&T along with Apple have essentially misled the public into believing that the iPhone 3GS incorporates sending and receiving MMS and that MMS would be enabled as of the 17th of June 2009 when iPhone OS 3.0 was released.
And well as we all know MMS is still not available via the iPhone 3GS, so I a way one could say that Deborah Carr is quite right and that Apple and AT&T have indeed mislead the public.
