Microsoft are hoping that a new crop of phones launching on October 6th Worldwide, will help them in their quest to stay relevant in the cell phone market.
The new phones will be running on Windows Mobile 6.5 and will include phones which will run on AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint. These will be the first phones that Microsoft will sell under the name of Windows Phone brand.
Microsoft are hoping that this will encourage users that its phones have more uses other than just doing work. Its features do include an improved Web browsing and conversation threaded email and also a new Windows Marketplace app store. To find out more go to news.cnet.com
