Nokia have confirmed to Forbes that they are postponing the US launch of its Comes With Music service until 2010. Its received a reception in the nine countries in which it’s already available, which is not as hot as was to be expected.
Nokia is having to rethink its strategy. The Comes With Music is with select Nokia phones and offers unlimited (copy-protected) music downloads for either 12 or 18 months. It was first launched in October 2008 in the UK, but the adoption of the service has been remarkably slower than expected.
The Comes With Music service sounds like a promising service and is really a good idea compared with other music services already available in the US, once downloaded you have the music for the life of your phone. Source – pcworld.com
