The appeal of social networking on your mobile phone is continuing to grow, and apparently MySpace is looking to give users an added incentive to connect by giving MySpace Mobile a makeover reports b.mjob.

Apparently the word is the new redesign of MySpace Mobile makes it “faster and easier” to use and incorporates several new features such as photo uploads, video uploads, text alerts, and update your status via SMS.

One can presume what prompted the redesign is that MySpace is rapidly losing the desktop battle with Facebook and this is probably an attempt to keep Facebook at bay in the mobile phone arena, personally I don’t think MySpace will manage that as I think Facebook is more popular.
