Its been confirmed by James McCarthy Microsoft’s business marketing manager that Microsoft are specifying strong minimum specs for Windows Mobile 7 devices.

This is to ensure that the new Mobile OS runs well and gives a really good consumer experience.
He said that in the future they are looking to deepen their development work with a handful of key OEMs at the hardware design stage.

There will be much more carefully defined software specs to match software requirements. In turn this will mean a much more powerful experience for mobile customers.
