Motorola’s first step into the Android arena is coming to the United Kingdom in the form of the Motorola Dext, which is known over in the states as the Motorola Cliq, and with this first Android handset lies the fate of Motorola reports electricpig.
The Motorola Dext sports the same gear as the Motorola Cliq, a slide out QWERTY, touch screen, 3G, WiFi, social networking, and a 3.5mm jack, but the big thing is the Dext doesn’t sport a vanilla Android but its own skin called MotoBlur.
MotoBlur is all about feeding social network communication into one home screen stream and shows all your friends updates from social networking site such as Twitter, Facebook, Yahoo, Gmail, MySpace and Last.FM, and also allows the user to respond and upload images.
The Motorola Dext hits the United Kingdom next month on the Orange network, but is the Motorola Dext enough to drag Motorola back to high times?
