Singapore Telecommunications has announced they will begin selling the social networking mobile phone, the INQ Mini 3G and target young customers reports Reuters.
The move is a milestone for INQ Mobile who has thus far sold their mobile phones via Hutchinson’s operators in varying countries. SingTel has stated they will unveil the price of the INQ Mini 3G later in the week when the handset goes on sale in Singapore.
The INQ Mini 3G is the 1st mass market handset to feature an internet based Twitter client and will use internet connections to send Tweets. The INQ1 handset won the best phone award back in February at Mobile World Congress and has been dubbed the “Facebook phone.”
