LG Electronics has now officially announced their first Android platform smartphone, the LG GW620 also known as the LG Etna, which will probably sport a stock Android build.
The LG GW620 will pack a 3 inch touch screen, slide out landscape full QWERTY keyboard and no other specs are mentioned in the official release, however rumour has it the LG GW620 will sport a 5 megapixel camera.
The announcement of the LG GW620 smartphone flies somewhat in the face of LG’s relationship with Microsoft and their commitment to the Windows Mobile line, however LG has stated they will be pushing out some 13 Windows Mobile smartphones over the next sixteen months.
