A man was taken into police custody on Wednesday as he attempted to return an iPhone to it’s rightful owner.
Johnny Harris aged 29 had bought the stolen iPhone and was attempting to return it to its owner. Harris was charged with dealing in stolen property, and is being held at the Martin County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Stuart police have said that a house burglary had taken place in which the intruders took the iPhone, Harris had told police that he obtained the iPhone on Tuesday as it was sold to him for $175 according to the affidavit. The owner of the missing iPhone contacted Harris who agreed a rendezvous. Source – sun-sentinel.com
