The Apple iPhone, iPod and Windows Mobile devices now have an official Push Gmail available with an always-on connection which pushes new email and arrives in your Gmail account on your mobile phone reports walyou.
Push Gmail offers another alternative for mobile phone users, although Gmail is still accessible via a mobile browser, and the new service can be used as a standalone feature or part of Google Sync.
Google Sync used to only sync with calendar and contacts but with the arrival of Push Gmail, Google Sync now synchronises with the users Gmail account as well. If you are an iPhone user, you will require iPhone 3.0 or above to use Push Gmail.
