If you are an android developer you can now garb a piece of Donut as of right now as HTC has now posted an official Android 1.6 image file to their developer centre reports engmobdev.

This official Android 1.6 image is however only for the unlocked Dream handset which is of course known as the Android Dev Phone 1, and regular T-Mobile G1 and Dream handset owners can’t use the code.

So there it is the first inkling of Android 1.6 update, and no doubt an official release of Android 1.6 phones will follow in the near future.
