The Samsung Galaxy i7500 and the HTC Hero, two new Android platform handset, alike yet different. Alike as in they both have Android 1.5 OS, a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, compass and 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen; yet different in device look.

The guys over at only gizmos have taken a look at both the HTC Hero and Samsung Galaxy i7500 and compared what the differences between the two handsets are, and have found that the main difference isn’t basically skin deep as the HTC Hero’s Sense UI adds that extra something to Android.

Sense UI along with Flash support for the browser makes the Samsung Galaxy i7500 look and perform like the HTC Magic on speed, so if you are in the market for ease of you then the HTC Hero is your guy, but if looking for specs then the Samsung Galaxy i7500 does the trick.
