Verizon has now launched the HTC Imagio, their first Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone and also the first Verizon branded smartphone to support MediaFLO based VCAST Mobile TV reports mobile burn.

The HTC Imagio’s digital TV service from Verizon at a cost of $15 per month comes via the HTC Imagio’s antenna which also doubles as a kickstand for easy viewing.

The HTC Imagio is quad-band GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA and apparently features seamless social networking integration and the HTC TouchFLO 3D user interface. The HTC Imagio will command a price tag of $199.99 based on a two year contract and after a $100 mail in rebate and will be available as of the 20th of October.
