HTC is to launch their HTC Hero in India HTC has announced, although the report by express computer online doesn’t actually mention a launch date.
As we know the HTC Hero comes toting the Android platform and will do so for the Indian launch, and when asked why HTC had chosen the Android platform the Country Head of HTC India, Ajay Sharma responded their intention is to enrich the user experience and make a uniform so that it isn’t based specifically on any operating system.
Quick spec reminder, the HTC Hero features a 3.2 inch HVGA display, GPS, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, 3.5mm jack, and microSD expansion. The HTC Hero will become available in Maharashtra for RS. 34,600 and the rest of India for RS. 31,990.
