Most have been expecting Rogers to offer the BlackBerry Curve 8520 in Canada, but so far there hasn’t been any inkling on a release date or price tag. Well now there is as according to the BGR, Best Buy tips the release date as the 9th of October.

As for the price tag the BlackBerry Curve 8520 on Rogers will command, well Best Buy again bring that news which is apparently without contract $499.99 and on contract $99.99.

The pricing seems somewhat steep when compared to the US T-mobile BlackBerry Curve which comes in $200 cheaper at $299, and also $99.99 on contract seems ridiculous when put against the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 at $9.99.
