HTC has now officially announced the HTC HD2 smartphone formally known as the HTC Leo, and is the first HTC Windows Mobile 6.5 with HTC Sense user interface handset.

Spec wise the HTC HD2 packs a 4.3 inch WBGA capacitive display, that Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, the fast 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, and dual LED flash, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 7.2Mbps UNTS/HSPA, and Sense UI.

HTC also stated that there is an optional car kit for the HTC HD2 for finger friendly navigation whilst in the vehicle and that the HTC HD2 will become available later this month with selected operators across Europe.
