The rumour is that Apple is working on a new application for their iPhone and iPod Touch which reportedly delivers FM radio to the handsets claims an article over on 9to5mac.
According to “anonymous sources” the app functionality will be somewhat similar to the app Apple built for the iPod Nano which includes the ability to pause and fast forward FM radio.
Apparently the delay is getting this new application to the iPhone and iPod Touch is because Apple wants to integrate it with their iTunes store as with integration users will be able to tap a song they hear and purchase a copy via the iTunes store.
