Companies that have a strict corporate policy that no mobile phone sporting a camera can be used do not allow workers to carry a mobile phone with camera, so in order to give those workers a mobile phone to stay connected Research In Motion has come up with the camera-less BlackBerry Bold 9000.
According to an article on sfgate, AT&T will as of yesterday make available the RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 minus its digital camera and is the first camera-less BlackBerry Bold to be sold in the US.
The new camera-less BlackBerry Bold 9000, targeted towards the enterprise sector will still command the same price tag as the BlackBerry Bold 9000 with camera at $199.99 on a 2 year contract and after rebate.
