Looks like Taiwan is going to gain a couple of new national mobile TV operating licenses in 2010 as the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has completed a draft proposal for their release reports digitimes.

According to the source report in the Chinese language Economic Daily News, “The government will be neutral on the adoption of either DVB-H or Media FLO developed by Qualcomm broadcasting technology.”

Apparently Qualcomm, the Want Want Group and Taiwan based carrier Taiwan Mobile have all expressed interest in placing bids for the new licenses states the newspaper.
