Although the Nokia 2220 Slide has yet to be officially announced by Nokia, the low end slider handset has now made an appearance in the form of some images over on techtree.
Word is the Nokia 2220 Slide will be a cheap mobile phone when announced and is based on S40 and presumed to become available to purchase later this year with a price tag of around the $100 area.
Spec wise, as expected with a low end device there isn’t a great deal, 128 x 160 display, FM radio, Opera Mini, basic VGA camera, 10MB internal memory, 3.5mm jack and a claimed eight hours of talk time with up to 400 hours standby.
