No iPhone 3G or 3GS in Manitoba or Saskatchewan
Well with TELUS going live with their new HSPDA network, and a whole lot of new devices which includes the iPhone 3GS the launch day of November 5th couldn’t come soon enough for some.
However, an email received from TELUS has notified that the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS will not be available in the provinces of Manitoba or Saskatchewan at the launch.
I suppose all that we can really do is just hope that TELUS gets their butts in gear, and launch the iPhone 3G & iPhone 3GS on their new network soon. If it isn’t going to be the November 5th that we’ve all been waiting for then when is it going to be? Source – intomobile.com

Just an a bit of clarification on the cellular landscape in Canada. Both Telus and Bell Mobility rely on SaskTel and Manitoba Telephone Services (MTS) for coverage in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. SaskTel nor MTS have made any statement of direction if they are going to augment their CDMA footprint with HSPA. Thus, neither Telus nor Bell Mobility can offer any HSPA devices in those provinces until such time those carries decide to offer HSPA services.
Its about time Mickey mouse sasktel was out of the game . Get your crap togetter . Ive seen better performace from a muppet 20 years ago.
Hi. Just wanted to let you know that SaskTel's new 3G+ network (UMTS/HSPA) is currently under construction. We expect to make an announcement within the next couple of weeks regarding availability.
