The latest and first Android platform mobile handset from Sony Ericsson, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, which was originally the Sony Ericsson Rachael and then XPERIA X3, has now been given the in-depths hands-on treatment by the guys over at Engadet.
Apparently there are 3 central modifications to the default Android 1.6 installation fist of which is Timescape which they say is a “spiritual sibling to MOTOBLUR” and aggregates all phone communications. Then there’s Mediascape which does the same to the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10’s media and presents what you have online or locally.
Then there’s face recognition that automates photo tagging via recognition after the first time you tag your friends and allows calling via tapping on the friend’s face image. For that complete Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 hands-on including images and videos hit up the link above.
