Apparently the word is some users are experiencing problems with their BlackBerry Messenger whereby the remote back-up and avatars on BlackBerry Messenger are not working correctly reports Crackberry.
Apparently the situation affects not only BIS users but BES users as well. the issue appears to have begun on Friday and has still not been corrected, and not only are BIS and BES users unable to sync avatars they can’t register a new email, or restore a back-up remotely and will not initiate a PIN switch on RIM servers.
Apparently the issue has been confirmed and it looks like the support servers are not responding to the requests. So if anyone is experiencing this problem feel free to drop us a comment and vent.
