Reminder: Bell Samsung Omnia II 2010 Olympic Winter Games mobile, next month
Yes it has been confirmed official that the Samsung Omnia II with Bell carriers is the official mobile phone for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
We saw over on the Samsung Hub site that Bell will be launching the HSPA network tomorrow and that they have officially announced the Samsung Omnia II is to be the handset that goes with the fast network; this mobile handset is the same as all the other except it has a special tag.
The tag is obviously 2010 Olympic Winter Games, the games will be held in Vancouver in February, 2010. Because this is the official mobile device for the Olympic Winter Games users will be able to download Samsung’s Wireless Olympic Works (WOW) which will allow you to keep track of all events during the Olympics.
The Samsung Omnia II mobile phone main features include Bluetooth, 3.7-inches AMOLED touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, Wi-Fi, 5MP auto focus camera with dual LED flash, TouchWiz UI, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot to take up to 32GB.
Not too sure on the price as of yet but we will let you know, but it will be selling as from next month.
