Word has it that Singapore is about to gain a third iPhone carrier which will join the competition SingTel and M1 and that carrier is to be StarHub who will offer the iconic iPhone by the end of 2009 reports macnn.
Other word is that Vodafone has now signed a deal to offer the iPhone in Qatar which will make them the first iPhone carrier in Qatar but a local launch could possibly slip 2010.
Meanwhile, Japan’s Softbank has announced they have signed more new subscribers in October than any of their rivals with 97,500 subs in the month and Softbank attributes the subscriber growth to the iPhone.
