Apparently we Brits are a lucky bunch as it appears that Vodafone and T-Mobile UK are the first carriers to offer the latest Research In Motion BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone globally while those over in the United States have to wait another week before they see the BlackBerry Bold 9700 debut according to an article on brighthand.
As most are aware, the BlackBerry Bold 9700, or as some call it the BlackBerry Bold2 is a smaller handset than the original Bold but still packs in a HVGA display, QWERTY keyboard and WiFi along with 3G goodness.
As of right now the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone is available on both the Vodafone UK and T-Mobile UK websites where it can be gained as a free handset when signing a 2 year agreement with a minimum of £35 per month plan.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 runs BlackBerry OS 5.0 and features the optical trackpad, a 3.2 megapixel camera, quad-band GSM, tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, microSD expansion WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm jack and comes bundles with a 2GB memory card.
