Some good news for users of Windows Mobile as Microsoft has announced a couple of updates to the Windows Mobile Marketplace for both consumer and developer according to an article over on mobile tech world.
On the consumer side of things they now have an online store available which can be accessed via your desktop or laptop computer whereby you can browser the Windows Mobile Marketplace and any applications purchased will be delivered to the connected mobile phone the next time the user opens the Windows Marketplace client.
While on the developer side there is more advanced anti-piracy protection along with enhancement to the developer portal to deliver a greater insight into account status, along with easier uploading of images.
Apparently, Microsoft has also stated that they intend to extend support for Windows Mobile 6.0 and Windows Mobile 6.1 users later this month, so no need for them to feel left out.
