The word is that the Windows Mobile 6.5 packing HTC HD2 smartphone will be hitting Vodafone very soon according to an article posted over on pocket-lint and apparently Vodafone may make an ofiicial announcement of the fact within the next 24 hours.
Here’s a quick spec reminded of the HTC HD2 for those who have forgotten, a 4.3 inch multi-touch display, 5 megapixel camera, HSDPA, GPS, WiFI and of course that Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdrogon processor.
Apparently O2 will be offering the HTC HD2 as well through mobiles.co.uk based on a minimum two year contract as £40 per month to gain the HTC HD2 for free.
However pocket-lint has now updated and apparently this is now all official and the HTC HD2 smartphone will be offered by Vodafone based on a two year agreement for £35 per month for a free handset which slightly beats the O2 pricing.
