Over the past few weeks there has been quite a lot of hype and attention been given to the likes of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and before that the BlackBerry Storm 2 smartphones and one tends to forget about the likes of the BlackBerry Curve 85xx series which is also heading out to carriers.
According to an article over on Crackberry, Sprint and Verizon Wireless will both be gaining the BlackBerry Curve 8530 and now AT&T has announced the BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone will become available “in the coming weeks.”
The BlackBerry Curve 8520 will be the latest handset to hit the AT&T network and carries the same specifications at its other siblings and will command a price tag of $99.99 after a mail in rebate and based on signing a two year contract with AT&T.
The vice president, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, Michael Woodward said in a statement, that AT&T was the first choice for BlackBerry in the US, and AT&T will continue to expand their offering of BlackBerry products.
