I’m sure most T-Mobile Sidekick users still remember the debacle over the Sidekick data loss not too long ago, an incident that will no doubt not be forgotten in a long while. However it does look like T-Mobile is firmly pushing that incident into the darkened corners and moving on with the T-Mobile Sidekick.

Apparently the guys over at the Boy Genius Report received a statement from T-Mobile which basically said T-Mobile is pleased to announce Sidekick sales have now resumed. Furthermore the T-Mobile Sidekick has also been given a now lower pricing.

That new pricing goes like this…the Sidekick 2008 now commands a price tag of $49.99 on a 2 year agreement while the Sidekick LX 2009 comes in at $149.99 on the same 2 year contract.

So it does look like T-Mobile is putting the Sidekick data debacle behind them and offering the lower prices to woo customers back, but the thing is can anyone trust that the same thing wont happen to the Sidekick again?
