As you are probably aware although the BlackBerry Bold 9700 on AT&T goes on sale as of the 22nd of November, AT&T business customers has already been able to order the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone, and the guys over at the Boy Genius Report have got hold of one.

Naturally the first thing you do with a new handset such as the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is put it through the traditional unboxing procedure, which is exactly what the guys have done and have posted numerous unboxing pictures .

Quick spec reminder for anyone who missed it, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 sports a 2.44 inch display, full QWERTY keyboard, optical trackpad, GSM/850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA/850/1900/2100, WiFi, 3.15 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, BlackBerry OS 5.0, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD expansion and a 3.5mm jack.

Apparently the word is that most AT&T stores already have the BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone in stock but have been told not to sell them until November the 22nd, so if you are quite friendly with your local AT&T rep you may be able to convince them into letting you have one early.
