The BlackBerry Curve 8530 on Verizon Wireless gets reviewed today by Adam Zeis over at Crackberry, who says the BlackBerry Curve 8530 is just a cool looking device which sports an all black design and loses the leather battery door and chrome bezel.
He says the front buttons rest nicely round the optical trackpad which is awesome and there isn’t any loose feeling to it, no loose keys or gaps and is a solid build overall while the top of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 sports new dedicated media keys.
As for the software on the BlackBerry Curve 8530, it runs OS 5.0.0.337 that delivers an improved browser, improved email and message options and of course the addition of WiFi. There are also features for the social networking minded such as Facebook, Flickr and MySpace and BlackBerry App World.
Overall, typing on the BlackBerry Curve 8530 is easy as the keyboard is the right size for the handset and is easy to hold due to its size and shape. The Curve 8530 switches fast between apps while sporting a full HTML browser is great. Adam finalises his review of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 by saying that the handset is awesome starter device, although doubts it will be picked up by the seasoned BlackBerry user.
