Walmart and Amazon offer Palm Pixi Phone for $25
Yep you read that title right, the second in Palm’s line of webOS smartphones, the Palm Pixi is now being offered for just $25.00 at Amazon and Walmart according to an article over on daily world buzz, so why pay $99.00 when you can get it this cheap.
One does have to say that the price of the Palm Pre keeps on falling so it isn’t too surprising to see the Palm Pixi follow suit, and no doubt it won’t be too long before we see someone offering the Palm Pixi for free on contract.
Obviously to gain the Palm Pixi for that low $25.00 form either Walmart or Amazon you will be required to sign up for a two year contract with Palm Pixi carrier Sprint, so if you want some webOS love now is the time to grab some.
Spec reminder for the Palm Pixi; GSM 850/900/1800/1900, HSPDA 850/1900/2100, 2.63 inch capacitive touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, candy-bar form factor, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, speakerphone, 8GB memory, 2 megapixel camera with flash, GPS, and 3.5mm jack.

This is cool, but it seems like a high price to pay for what your getting. 60$ a month is a decent rate, but the rate Straight talk also available at Walmart is offering is only 45$ a month. Straight talk runs on the Verizon network which is the best network. The palm more then likely does not get near the same reception as the straight talk phone, why is it 15$ more per month. This seems suspect.
