Not too long ago HTC delivered the HTC Android packing HTC Hero and not too long after HTC repackaged the Hero for Verizon Wireless and put the handset out as the HTC Droid Eris with a reasonably low price of just $99.

Well according to an article over on phandroid, the HTC Droid Eris can now be gained via Walmart for an astoundingly low $30 using their LetsTalk instant discount meaning the customer gets a saving of $149.99 on the original price of $179.49.

The HTC Droid Eris offers Android 1.5 OS, HTC Sense user interface, 3.2 HVGA, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, HTML browser, 8GB microSD card preinstalled, Bluetooth 2.1 and 3.5mm jack.

So basically the HTC Droid Eris is virtually a HTC Hero, but at $30 for an Android packing handset it’s simply got to be a great deal, besides who’d want to hand over $99 when they can get it for $30?
