Apparently Lenovo is purchasing back their wireless business Legend Holdings and thus looks like the smartphone markets in China will be heating up and with the possibility that Lenovo can compete against the iPhone reports an article over on tmcnet.
Apparently the implications of Lenovo’s return to the mobile phone arena indicates that China is committed to their 3G and 4G strategies and will open up the Chinese market to numerous types of smart devices.
According to the article Lenovo have said, convergence of the mobile handset and personal computing has been a key tech tread for several years while the two technologies provide very different user experiences which are evolving.
So can Lenovo come up with a worthy competitor to the iPhone for China or other markets, and should Apple be afraid? Can Lenovo be the one that delivers the fabled iPhone killer?
