At last after what seems an inordinately long time, the Big Red is finally offering for sale the Samsung Omnia II smartphone, just in time to grab hold of your Christmas spending money no doubt, and will be the 2nd Windows Mobile 6.5 handset, the 1st being the HTC Imagio, to grace Verizon’s network reports the BGR.
Spec wise the Samsung Omnia II packs in a 3.7 inch AMOLED display along with a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, Bluetooth, EV-DO Rev. A, 8GB internal memory which is expandable via microSD slot, and TouchWiz 2.0 user interface.
Unfortunately though the Samsung Omnia II is lest out in the cold as it doesn’t pack the Samsung Imagio’s global roaming functionality.
So if you have been hanging waiting for Verizon to push out the Samsung Omnia II smartphone they now have it for purchase commanding a price tag of some $199.99 based on a two year agreement.
