It is pretty much known that HTC will be launching some very new Android based smartphones in the near future, and the recently leaked ROM gives us some further clarification.

The 2.1 ROM that has been seen running on a HTC Hero has given us a few clues on the up coming devices that we should expect in the coming months from HTC. According to comments from androidspin ’deeply embedded in their latest ROM, HTC has a lot of codenames fro existing and upcoming phones.

The names spotted are as follows, Bahamas, Bravo, DesireC, Dragon, Dream, Expresso, Halo, HeroCT, HeroC, Hero, Huangshan, Incredible, Legend, Liberty, Memphis, Paradise, PassionC, Passion, Sapphire, and Supersonic.

As you can see from the list some of the names are already known to us and some are quite familiar, but there are certainly others that we have no idea of. One things for sure though this is really exciting to see more devices from HTC coming our way, especially if they are running on Android. Source – androidcommunity.com
