Great news for BlackBerry users out there, as Nimbuzz announces a new version of its Chat and VoIP application for BlackBerry smartphones. It is very different from it’s predecessor as it runs an a native application.
The expectations are the same as before to allow toy to seamlessly stay in touch with your friends and colleagues across a range of different platforms which include IM services and Social Networks.
The application will run in the background, while the user continues with there usual work. However, whenever a contact pings the user, he is then alerted by a notification which appears on the home screen. There is also an auto reconnect option, which searches for 3G, 2G or Wi-Fi availability whenever you loose the connection.
Users may want to try this on their phones with OS 4.0 and higher, such as the Storm, Bold 9000, Tour 9630, Pearl Flip, Curve 8900, Storm 2 and Bold 9700. You can download this from Nimbuzz or via BlackBerry App World. Source – techtree.com
