So Verizon’s Android BOGO offer only includes the HTC Droid Eris, so just how different is the HTC Droid Eris from say the Sprint and GSM version of the HTC Hero? Well the guys over at phone dog have taken the HTC Droid Eris for a spin and come up with an overall impressions video.

The video below is apparently only the first of a multipart video review of the HTC Droid Eris so we can expect more to come. The HTC Droid Eris is of course Verizon’s version of the Hero.

The reviewer states that the HTC Droid Eris form factor is very comfortable in the hand and is thin with smooth rounded edges which has man him a fan of the HTC Droid Eris over the European Hero.

He goes on to say that the HTC Droid Eris feels quicker than the Sprint or European Hero, however he didn’t have either handset to do a side by side comparison at the time. So rather than me rattle on I’ll let you hit up the video below for more…enjoy.
