There’s a new Verizon Droid advert doing the rounds which actually says the Droid isn’t that pretty a smartphone, but is fast, as fast as ripping through the web like a circular saw through bananas apparently.

The advert even says the Droid is racehorse duct tapped to a scud missile fast, and well I would presume that’s pretty fast, although somewhat of a strange comparison. And the Droid isn’t a precious, porcelain figurine of a phone; but it does swap “hairdo for Can do.”

According to Verizon’s latest advert the Droid isn’t a princess it’s a robot, but the thing is why can’t a smartphone have the best of both worlds both speed and beauty, after all not all robots are ugly.
