It appears that computer giant Dell isn’t about to stop their advancement into the mobile phone arena with their Dell Mini 3i handset, as according to an article over on the WSJ, Dell is gearing up to reorganise and create a new communications division.
This new communications division will apparently spearhead Dell’s advancement into the mobile phone world, and is to be headed by the current president of Dell’s consumer division, Ron Garriques, formally of Motorola.
The Dell Mini 3i was Dell’s first smartphone which sports a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and geo-tagging, Bluetooth, and microSD expansion up to 32GB.
So it does appear that Dell is taking their step into the mobile handset arena seriously and wants to grab a fair share of the market; more as and when we hear.
