If you are one who is interested in the entire goings on at Sprint’s 2009 Open Developers Conference you may like to know that the entire Palm first day presentation is available online in the form of several videos courtesy of webos-internals.
Although one does have to say if you can actually sit through all these without nodding off you must be fairly into tech speak, but it is kinda cool to watch some of Palm’s core webOS development team getting down to the nitty-gritty about what makes Palm products tick.
Unfortunately we couldn’t embed the videos here, so the videos available are as follows; Keynote delivered by Ben Galbraith and Don Almaer – – Getting Started with Palm webOS Apps, part 1: Demo and Overview – – Part 2: Planning and UI Design – – Part 3: Developing your App – – and Part 4: Working with palm and Distributing your App.
The main thing in all this is that Palm is committed to the browser as a runtime environment and committed to HTML 5 and the compatibility with emerging specs.
